As the official kick-off to Rancho Murieta’s party season, Casino Corral attracts hundreds of local residents and business owners to a fun-filled evening featuring a live band, gourmet prime rib & chicken dinner, gaming, dancing, raffles & exciting auctions featuring great prizes.

The Rancho Murieta Optimists and the Rancho Murieta Kiwanis have teamed up once again to bring the community a great evening!

The entire Rancho Murieta community comes together to make this event happen. The community donates the eggs and the stuffing – and the community comes together to stuff the eggs!  This is truly a feat in itself .

This year, the following groups came together to gather, stuff and sort the Easter Eggs:  ”Kiwanis K-Kids”, “Mom’s Group”, “Pat (Meme) and her helpers Brook Hanson and Noelynn Olttmans”, “Ms Kristys Daycare”, “Melisa Willis Girl Scout Troop”, “Dia Utterback & her boy scouts”.

• Event is held at Stonehouse Park in the Rancho Murieta Gated Community
• Time frame – Noon – 3:30 p.m.
• Hunt Line Up time – 1:00 p.m. (all ages need to be ready)
• 1:45 p.m. K-9 Demo
• 2:15 p.m. – Story Time with Mary Ison
• Pony Rides
• Face Painting
• BBQ
• Cookie Decorating
• Animal Petting area (separate from the Pony’s)
• Bake Sale
• Coffee & Water
• Easter Bunny – (bring your camera’s)

Tickets will be available to purchase – There will be ticket sellers at the gate area – and inside the park – Tickets are for sale in packets of 10 or 20 – however you can purchase smaller denominations inside the park.  Click here for directions to the park inside the gate.

Last year, all of you donated over 6500 plastic eggs and filled them!  So thank you Rancho Murieta Community – you are simply the best.  We are once again in need of your donations – so watch for the announcements and posts – Our Easter Egg Hunt is such a success because of all of you!

For all our customers who are in purchasing candy for holiday gifts you can also buy an extra box or two for deployed service men and women and leave it in the Rancho Murieta Business Center Store.

The candy gets collected and shipped to units in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Walter Reed Medical Center.

You will see Rancho Murieta Kiwanis Volunteers manning See’s Candy Tables ~ Stop by, Say Hello and purchase a box for a Soldier.

It was a fun event – many stories were  shared and honors were awarded.  Three Distinguished Service Awards and many great awards were given.

Your Rancho Murieta Kiwanis is a thriving group of dedicated volunteers that assist the youth in our community, in our school district and world wide!

Our very own past president, Bernie Bowes, Jr. is now the new Lt. Governor of our District! (California, Nevada, Hawaii)

The American Cancer Society “Relay For Life” unites communities across the country each year to celebrate the lives of those who have Battled Cancer, Remember Loved Ones Lost, and Fight back against a disease that takes so much.

Our Rancho Murieta community is no different.

Pulling together to raise funds, create unity and celebrate all achievements, taking a moment to remember with love all of those who have lost their fight is truly a life changing event.

Bringing neighbors, friends, family and businesses together to inspire, strengthen, and unite all who have been afflicted by Cancer creates a synergy that is felt throughout.
